Heading to the BIPOC Games Studies Conference

We’ll be showing off the project at the BIPOC Games Studies Conference at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.

We’ll have two machines that you can sit down at to explore the experience.

Currently you’ll be able collect a series of pots and their mementos to hear all of the story interviews. I’ll be posting individual interviews as audio blogs later here on the website. You’ll also be able to wander a large environment, go underwater, and get access to various places by listening to the interviews of the participants, and hear hidden performances by some of those participants int the world.

You can download and play the build well be showing on a PC at the download link below. The experience is best with headphones.

Download a working build of Sankofa Seasons here.

If you’d like to participate and add an interview to the experience please fill out the participation form here.

Feel free to comment and give us feedback here on the post.
