On April 26th and 27th 2019 we hosted Epic Games who came out to give a bunch of whirlwind workshops to help people get better acclimated to the Unreal Engine.
The focus was on getting instructors comfortable with the engine so that they could more easily teach it and its concepts to students.
For students there was a live game dev presentation and we opened up the Blueprint and Sequencer sections to students on the final day.
More info and links to watch the recorded sections can be found on the Spring Unreal 4 Symposium page.
We hope to host more of these kinds of meetups and symposiums as we work to grow the game dev education community in Chicago.
